How do I get the EPG for CW800?

With all my other boxes, I always just left it on either 200, 320, or 321 and the guide would populate.

With the CW800, it used to partially get the guide [there's always one or 2 channels I want to see that doesn't get populated], but now it doesn't seem to work at all.

I just left the CW800 on 321 for 30 minutes and it didn't get anything!

Is there an easier way?

I tried 330 for about half an hour... It got plenty of guide info but only for about HALF the channels, so that didn't solve anything. Actually it was worse then the other channels I usually try.

I will try 195 but I'm starting to think that this box just doesn't handle extended EPG as well as SV or VS.

If that's the case, then this box is practically useless for scheduled recordings and really is only good for TIMESHIFT.


Am I the only one that is not getting the extended EPG on all channels with this box??

NOPE....I have the same problem here on my captiveworks but I also have three viewsats and the epg is good with 24 hours of scheduling.

yup... Same thing on 195.

Well, at least I can use it for timeshifting
