How were we beaten by Captiveworks!

I am very happy to find this site and getting back into the normality. Sites will be taken over, its one of the drawbacks of loopholes, and greed.

But domain names aside, how did Captiveworks come up with a fix for the latest ECM before Viewsat? Thats just weird!

Anyways, I guess the fix will be in when its in. Its just hard to accept to be beaten by Captiveworks , an open source FTA box.

Captive Works is not exactly fixed I got my 600s out of the garage today knocked the dust off and installed the 158 bin on it. Yes it is wide open but a big pain trying to watch much with all the freezeing.

Why is it weird ? It just happens. Sometimes Pansat is the first one out, in this case the temporary fix for GC. Who knows the next time. It can be CNX.

This 'mentality' of being beaten is what causes feuds between one manufacturer to the other. This is not a game on who is first. The important thing is we all, regardless of STB's get a fix ...........and we wait patiently, no questions asked

Captive Works is not open source. Dreambox however is.

Once you have keys, turn AR off - works good on the 600 P, also, I have auto TP off

And I believe the dreambox was up before the CW. CW is Trash. The only reason they have a fix out now and others are not fixes is because too many dealers had CW boxes ROTTING on their shelves and needed some way to clear off their shelves... Whala !!!

well i think if ALL coders worked together,all boxes would be up a lot faster.
as for being #1, let that fall on the features of the box it's self. just my ,02$ on that,
