| The last time I checked that this was a hobby. And thats what made the ariza xtreme a fun hobby for me. Always trying to get it to work. All you hear is that you need to upgrade to a viewsat or a captiveworks, go for the easy fix and complain when you dont have your porn of ppvs. Thats the problem with most of the people lurking around for the free fix. If everybody started off the xtreme, they would have respect for the coders and the people involved in this fun hobby. I also have a VS Pro and I am sure not everybody has the money to just go out and upgrade to whatever. It was fun while it lasted and the Extreme will surely be missed by me! |

| The extreme can be converted into Homestat (sp?) - they are the same units and the same box except in gray colour - but the Homestat has a different internal chip - I don't have the full details but if you do a search by the who use to support it - Mingo - he has it laid out. It was too complicated for me so I just purchase the viewsat pro :-) - however, I still have the extreme in case I run into someone who can convert it for a reasonable price. I heard but can't verify that the Homestat was going to be supported by Coolsat coders. |
